Jorge Relea
Vice President of Engineering
Jorge Relea, Vice President of Engineering, joined FTI in 2023. He is responsible for the successful execution of software engineering activities across programs and products. His responsibilities encompass strategic staffing for existing programs, anticipation of future resource demands for talent acquisition or upskilling, and prioritization of team member development. Jorge also plays a key role in establishing policies and procedures to ensure dependability and repeatability while actively monitoring and reporting productivity metrics.
Before joining FTI, Jorge held the position of Executive Director and Chief Engineer at L3Harris. During his tenure, he provided technical leadership and oversight for the F-35 Technical Refresh 3 (TR3) Panoramic Cockpit Display (PCD) program.
Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Science degree in Project Management from George Washington University.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Jorge returned in 2020 after residing on the mainland for two decades. He takes pride in being a devoted dog dad to Barsa, a Weimaraner, and finds enjoyment in outdoor activities like hiking and backpacking. He has long been a dedicated supporter of the United Way.
