I continue to serve as a reserve member of the US Navy. The ability to remain involved with the Navy while working with FTI means I get to experience the best of both worlds.
I’m thankful that I was given the opportunity to serve the United States of America - I am even more grateful for how my time in service shaped my worldview and life.
I knew that when I joined the Navy that I was in for the long haul. I loved it (the discipline, the different countries, the moving, even the deployments). Knowing that my job was helping keep the US and my family safe.

My service time in the Navy was meaningful and life-changing. Being in the Navy also enabled me to go to college and receive my bachelors degree and my MBA.
Serving in the Navy really change my life entirely. I am also grateful I got to serve and better myself.
It allowed me to work with some of the best people to achieve a common goal of protecting people and property from a wide variety of threats, both man-made and natural.
Truth is that my service, presented to me an opportunity, adventure and meaning, cannot be measured.
The opportunity to serve in the Navy made me a better person through service to others.
My time in the service was about sacrifice, commitment, selfless service and comradeship.
My time is serving gave me crucial training, showed me how critical leadership skills are to team success and taught me how to advocate for myself and the people on my team.
Serving was a chance to find my purpose, see the world, meet new people and experience other cultures.
