Dr. Jonathan Avooske

Dr. Jonathan (Jody) Avooske, Vice President of Information Advantage, joined FTI in 2023. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to expand the FTI Information Advantage sector - focusing on cyber, electronic warfare and intelligence. Jody excels in building lasting relationships, innovating new concepts and approaches to hard problems, creating technical teams, collaboration, and driving for solutions to critical warfighter challenges. His extensive background promises continuous innovation in cyber infrastructure to benefit both current and future customers.

With over 40 years of Department of Defense experience, Jody served 20 years in the US Navy Submarine Force and contributed another two decades conceptualizing solutions to intricate problems, team formation, funding acquisition, and issue resolution during his 10 years at the Pentagon, supporting various offices.

Jody earned a Doctor of Business Administration from Northcentral University in Arizona, specializing in the Management of Engineering and Technology. He also holds a Master's of Science in Strategic Management from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Supply Chain Management from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he is certified as Level 3 Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) in Lifecycle Logistics.

Based in Huntsville, Alabama, Jody enjoys reading, walking to clear and focus his thoughts, working around the house with his wife, Melissa, and playing with the dogs. He’s a proud father of two grown sons and grandfather to three grandchildren.
